For multiple fine thin wrinkles, Dr. Shelton found over the last decade that injecting a hyaluronic acid mixed with lidocaine to make it thinner and spread better that he can plump up the dermis to make the raisin turn back into the grape. Not injecting the individual creases with filler which can make it look like a ridge, the lattice technique provides a unique way of quickly making a terribly sun-damaged face look better without the recovery of laser resurfacing. Of course, filler must be redone within a year or more to maintain the improvement but in this case it was more than three years that she maintained her improvement of fine lines of the lower front of the cheek which she got from smiling.
