Fillers Botox™ in NY - Related FAQ'sI had Botox for my crow's feet done in NYC and now I see a new line near my lower eyelid. Will this be permanent?
Fortunately there should be no permanent sequela from having Botox as it is a temporary effect. There may be some pushing on the lower eyelid by the smile muscles of the cheekbone area which are now more apparent, but this will go away. If I had Botox in NYC two days ago, why can't I see improvement today? Especially if this is your first treatment, but also if you are a seasoned Botox recipient, there can be up to two weeks of a duration before the peak effect of Botox is seen, sometimes even more. More viscous fillers than Restylane or Juvederm are not suggested as this increases the risk, and hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the Restylane or Juvederm, but not Radiesse or Sculptra or fat. I had Botox done in NYC for my frown lines but I can't afford the next treatment in a few months. Should I ask my doctor to just use less units next time? Botox is tailored to each patient based on their anatomy.
