My nose is very short. Can Botox™ relax any muscles that will lengthen the nose?
I am not aware of any such results. When people have a dropped tip of the nose, especially when it is pulled down by the muscles around the mouth with animation, then Botox™ can minimize this downward pulling. To lengthen the nose you would need to relax muscles that hold the nose up and these really don't exist as it's supported by cartilage and bone.
My friend gets Botox™ in the region between the eyebrows but I need my whole forehead treated. She pays much more why?
Botox™ may be charged per unit and you may need more units between the eyebrows (the glabella). This could cost significantly more than the forehead treatment if you don't need as many units in the forehead as you do in the glabella.
I had Botox™ done to make my lower lip look less prominent after fillers that made me unhappy. Now I don't like the way it looks when I smile. How long will this last?
If you didn't like the effect of the filler, and if it was Restylane or Juvederm, then hyaluronidase could be used to dissolve it. There is no solution for fat injections or Radiesse, though the Botox™ will take time to have its effects disappear. Usually three months, significant activity returns, and at 16 weeks it has worn off completely for most patients.
I want Botox™ in my frown lines because people tell me I look stern and what's bothering me but I'm really a happy person. I read an article that says it could change my feelings, is this true?
You may feel less stressed without changing anything but relaxing your frown lines by injecting them with Xeomin, Dysport or Botox™ botulinium toxin.
I saw a physician and had Botox™ injected for my bunny lines on my nose but I can't smile right. Should this have happened?
Botox™ used off-label when treating bunny lines on the upper sides of the nose might affect one of the smile muscles if injected slightly too low. It will take many weeks for this to go away. Sometimes it can occur so different on one side than the other, that the physician will make it look better for those months until it goes away by purposely weakening the smile muscle on the other side. This occurs less in frequency with better placement of Botox by an experienced physician.
