Botox would help minimize your creases of the lower eyelid skin but it would probably worsen the swollen bags of fluid. Botox lessens the pump action of the lower eyelid muscle and the fluid backs up increasing the swelling. It can be used for the glabella (the "eleven" between the eyebrows) and the Crow's feet without worsening the lower eyelid bags. Every time I smile, the tip of my nose pulls down. Can this be fixed? Botox can be injected, as an off-label use, in the columella of the nose, the strut underneath the nose that divides the nostrils, and this may relax the muscular pull.
